Well that was an eventful weekend! Left Derby at 5:30 last night, then the Mini I was convoying with broke down on the M1, so the RAC came out and followed him home, the condenser in his coil had gone. Me and the fella carried on, 30 miles or so later, after just getting onto the A14, Lily studdered to a holt and wouldnt start again. So out came the RAC again! He found the problem, my points had closed up, he got it fixed and we were on our way! Finally got to Santa Pod at 11:30pm

Then on the way home tonight, convoying back with someone else from the club, their Mini kept overheating so they had to call out the AA! Doh.

The show was good, although I was mega tired, but I did manage to avoid the wasp stings!!

1st MITP for me, wicked day out, didn't go in the Mini but should be on the road next week,
loved this pick up.


Camera ran out of memory and battery, bad planning by me. Doh.
Didn't even think of looking for the TMF stand got swayed by all the shiney bits at SC.

Then yes that was me! We were just following everyone else, haha.

I was on a go slow, as the Mini I was with was a little bit poorly

Had a great weekend, cant remember much of it though i did meet loads of new people and a few old faces. Oh one thing.. did anyone else get punched by a marshal?

yeah, the marshal was called ninja nigel and there was another one we called santa, that was funny as anything! Especially when that scottish marshal (legend) was taking the ******* out of ninja nigel and santa with us! Ninja nigel never did come back to beat you with his torch though... Lmao!

Was a great show, definately do it next year, was real good to meet some tmf'ers as well!

Had an aesome convoy home as well, especially driving around lakeside, lol

oh, and thanks to medieval minis for letting us set up camp with you.

i went to go kip, and craigs sleeping bag was already in there, lol, pikey site last week at smd and homeless hostel this week, no worries, was a laugh!

What a great day out, looking forward to next years mitp already, aim to get my mini ready by then (touches wood).

I was abit gutted by the diversion because my satnav on the way to the pod took me past a street sign reading ''BELL END'' , really wanted a picture but nevermind.

Got the majority of the panles I needed and managed to slice my hands on those panels quite a few times carrying them back to the car, lol.

The jet car and podzilla make my ears hurt, lol

did anyone manage to get a picture of that amazing blue van right over the back of the show bit.
it was quite near that little arena with the monster truck and bikers.
it was also quite near that clubby front BBQ.
did any get a pic? it was beautiful!!

using my excellent camera skills i managed to get a picture of the wheels and the floor
