Sadly I didn't make it to the club stands, there was just so much to see and do! Next year I'm hoping I can be there and Elliot can be on the stand. I want to take her down the strip too, for a laugh .

nice pics, i think im in one of them with the monster truck in the background :)

And I also got stung :)

lol not as bad as our luck! on the A6 our White Astras top hose burst causing coolant to go all over the road, the engine to seize and us stranded watching loads of lovely minis go past until our rescue came in the shape of a corsa lol!

so if you went up the A6 and saw an overheating white astra in a layby it was us!

Well well well!

What a great it was!
Even with the sunshine, and then the lightening, and thunder, it was still AWESOME!

I'm glad I kipped in the car tho, nuts to tents again!

nice to see a few old faces, and a few new faces, eh jack... Tea cosy man!
Did anyone see me? I was the dude, wearing the helmet hoooooooooooooooooge spikes coming out the top =D Anyone get any pics? lol.

Roll on next year - hopefully - I'll be in a camper!

have you got a black mini? I raced someone who had a helmet with 2 huge spikes on, and beat you by like 0.2 of a second, lol.

Just got home from work after the best sleep i've had in ages last night... i appretiated that after Saturday night's shinanigans

I enjoyed the show a lot. Lots of people said they were dissapointed, though. I think as a show it was very well organized, the camping worked well other than the rain, thunder and wind, which of course resorted in lots and lots of mud. Me and Jack got absolutely covered from head to toe... and neither of us had a change of clothes for Sunday. Besides the weather i really enjoyed it, i liked being able to look around, and then heading to the track to see some fast minis... and then looking around trade, back to camp, have a chat with Nigel and Wolfy and bum some cokes from Mr.Wolf himself (after just buying 2 cans for £2 at the stalls).. :) The food was overpriced, which is the norm at Mini shows. Thank god for nigel and dans bbq... and if god hadnt have invented crisps i don't know where i'd be right now!!! ... the 'off track' action was absolutely brilliant, the stunt guy made me pretty much speechless, was an amazing show!!! the monster truck had a ridiculous introduction time and very little action, but was fun to watch when they finally did fire it up.

The security at night were complete and utter *****. Jack has filed a complaint with the police earlier today after we got pulled from the toilets at 3am on Saturday night whilst washing the mud from ourselves... and then Jack getting punched by a security bloke that went by the name of 'Nigel'. Not impressed by that in the least, put a very bad vibe to Santa pod in general for me. If they treat their guests like that, it makes me wonder if i can justify going next year?

Twas a nice relaxed day. Weren't as many people as I thought, but I'm guessing the rain put a lot of people off. Had a good look around the club stands, trade stands and the strip. The laid back nature of the day gave me a chance to only take a few photos as I was just strolling around really! Here are a few shots pn my flickr account:

I had a good laugh on the saturday night with a few of the other chaps from TurboMinis although the site seemed pretty dead, we figured there'd be more people up late partying. Woke up to a nice hangover on sunday, just glad i took me camper and not the mini + tent!

Here's a few of my pics from the sunday anyway.
