I took 2 cars to Stanford this year at a cost of around £70 in fuel and entry only for our club stand to be as far from everything as you could possibly get, I would have been closer to the show If I had just turned up for the day and parked up in Mini only parking. Most the space in the main field was given to the concours cars and even though you could have fitted loads more club round the sides the organisers still stuck loads of clubs on very a badly maintained field.  I love Stanford Hall as a venue but not for this show!!. Next year I will be going to a show that is only 5 mins from my house and is free entry for display cars. The show is for all of us but I felt that all the space was given to the concours cars and most the clubs where put out of the way on manky grass banks!!!!!

It's a shame as I thought I had a very special mini to show off and it was wasted stuck at the back of the show.

Did anyone see the BBC camera crew there? They asked to film me doing a twirl but were a bit secretive and would only say its for a business program next year. They had a huge tent out the back and loads of gear so something big was happening.

T'was for Andrew Marr's politics show. About investing in classics as I understand. (GF works for the BBC)

Depends how you count cylinders two and three, is it two into one or is it one port.
