i have the manual for the alarm. there is only one.
and dan if you had to try and decipher the alarms manual i think youd end up with a headache too.
its utterly pathetic that the manual is mostly gibberish with poor pictures and explanations
i even had to email the company for an operating manual for the shock sensor supplied, theres no mention of it anywhere ¬¬

It seems this realy is a problem then. Yes the user manual is gibberish, largely because a lot of it uses American terminology since it's an American alarm. Are Mini Spares now leaving the installation manual out of the kits? The alarm when you buy it directly (without the custom conversion loom) comes with an install manual and also a quick reference sheet as well as the user guide. When I bought it as a kit from Moss it came with all the manuals, and when I bought another from Mini Spares a few years later it too had all the manuals. I've fitted a few of these and never found them that bad, but then I did have all the paperwork (including the sheet about the glass break / shock sensor). Maybe we should ask Simon if Mini Spares are putting the kits together or getting them from a third party who has decided the install manual is superfluous because of the custom loom.

The alarm is as out of the box and i think its how it left the factory, and the central locking is made up by a company and the instructions arent very clear at all, i did email them suggesting to incorporate a connector similar to the one which has red/blue wiring to make the alarm connection easier, some people may find it very difficult if they dont completely understand how electronics etc work. Lets see if they email me back about it, perhaps they'll listen.

Yes thinking about it only the Moss version comes with the conversion loom. Very odd to only be getting the one manual. The central locking kits are usually from Electric Life.

the c/l kit was from wolf electric, they do loads of other kits for other cars, and the alarm is an omega k-9 mundial 4. Shame about the instructions really as its a good alarm for the money

It is a good alarm for the price, I agree. I was looking to replace one last year and there isn't a lot out there with a similarly high specification. They've always used those American Omega brand alarms in the Mini kits sold here. I'm pretty sure that Wolf is something to do with Electric Life, their kits have always looked extremely similar.
