Could still be connections - just as long as the engine has been assembled correctly - and isn't 'tight'.
It's started fine before and turned over really fast. I will keep the battery on charge all day tomorrow and have another go, It us just not knowing whether to risk putting the head on in hope oil will come up and unblocking the shaft and rocker oil holes will allow the oil to get through.
