MORE PICTURES UPLOADED Check the end of page 3 and start of page 4 for the new pictures!

Hi,
Firstly i will state that im not quite too sure on whether this is the correct section for this post. If it isnt, please could a mod move it.

I have recently inherited the contents of my garage, which is crammed to the brim full of mini spares and various parts (im pretty sure that 95% of whats in the garage is mini related, it was my dads project, but didnt progress anywhere in 15 years).

Sadly i do not have the time, knowledge, or tools to rebuild the chassis that is in there >:D

So ive decided that it all needs to be sold, but i dont quite know what is what. I know a few bits and bobs but not enough mechanical knowledge to identify these parts (and theres alot of them!).

So i took some pictures. If anybody can help me identify these parts, or tell me if any measurements or markings are needed to identify them, then it would be greatly appreciated!

I also apologise for the poor angles of the pictures, there really isnt much room to move around in the garage.

Here is the garage from the front and down the side of the mini chassis.

Again, if anybody can help identify any of these, so i can get them valuated and sold, it would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks, Lee.

Edit: I will also update this thread with more parts that i find in the garage.

I think you need to get someone round to help sift through it all. From those3 pictures, O have seen an HIF38 or 44 carb, (fairly desireable) a couple of Webber carbs (again, fairly desireable) an a-series engine (as opposed to the a plus from the post '84 cars) but without the first few numbers off the engine plate (on the top of the engine, near the waterpump which is above the long arm where the clutch is) I cant tell what size it is. BUT, you have quite a little goldmine there so do some research!
Also, one of those fuel tanks looks like a right-hand tank, which if its an original cooper s or a reproduction, is worth a couple of hundred quid of anyones money. Maybe more!

Thankyou for your post! :)

From what i remember my dad telling me, there are 4 or 5 engines under that mini;

MG metro turbo engine + gearbox
1480?
1380
1360
1275
998
and the 8xxcc engine from the early Mini

But that is off the top of my head. If you can give any information how to identify these engines, ill gladly fish them out and put pictures up! :)

Thankyou! I have two of these bonnets but i didnt realise they were the same (one has the grille and badge attached), the other is the primered one in the pic.

Are these worth anything?

Engine numbers, found on the front right hand side on top of the block below the head, would help.
