Blimey, that was a while ago pal. I pretty sure it was just good old blue hylomar. Sealed well and after a 15 minute run this week it was still leak free.

I've decided to repaint the cylinder head. It has become marked through poor storage and the colour isn't a great match against the block.
I cleaned it all off today and I'll possibly get the first coat of paint on tomorrow

Bloody hell!! Didn't even know there was a bush in them lol. You really are going the extra mile with the engine pal, looks great.

The one that was in was destroyed mate.
This isn't a DIY job though.
Also repainted the timing chain cover, the paint had crazed

Flywheel assembly is being balanced
Backplate being re-faced and squared up
