Back in the booth again

 

 

Slather on some sticky tape

 

 

 

Tosh on some base coat

 

 

 

 

And then 3 coats of the shiny stuff

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then washed out my guns and went home for beer in the garden

If you can just lash some waxoyl type stuff on it whilst you’re on......

Ill see what i can do although it would be better to do that once you have got it almost rebuilt or you will get it all over you whilst working on it.

I still don't get why it got darker and darker with every coat of clear when we did it before..

I was looking at the pictures today wondering the same

I think it was the batch because it didn’t happen with the inside of the bonnet or boot

That's only the first pass with a course compound. Ill visit again with finer grades once the rest of the car is done with the course

 

I couldn't resist resting the arches in place
