What everyone in here needs to know is that gran turismo 2 is the best of the bunch.

(it also has old minis in it )

gran turismo 2 im afraid was a flop. it was rushed and didnt improve much over the original GT. ohhhh hold on we had arcade mode on a seperate disc. WOW im really glad i didnt waste my time playing that disc. i would say GT2 is nearlly as bad as that concept game with those weird japanese cars.

GT2 was a well developed game, i thought it was a big step up from the original and had a lot of new cars and some new features. To be fair the first one was great and didnt need improving on a lot really. GT2 kept me entertained for many a year and it remains one of my favourite games to this day! Definately made the most of the Playstations capabilities anyway.

I thought 1, 2 and 3 were all really good. I can't ever remember playing 4 though.

I can't believe this game has been delayed again. They want to make sure they have enough copies at release date or there are going to be a lot of upset people. It might be a somewhat popular Christmas present.

It will give people the time to get CoD out of their system, so they can focus all attention on GT5.

I think the big problem is the copmpany knows that GT5 is so anticipated and so there will still be just as much demand for the game. They may lose a few people through the long wait for the game, but ultimately most of those people will still end up playing it on a friends console or whatever.

It better be good.

I was going to buy a PS3 the same day GT5 hit the stores... but the delay has changed my mind....
No GT5 = No PS3 for me.
No classic Mini's in GT5 = No GT5 for me = No PS3 for me.

by the way...
The ultimate Mini-in-GT experience was the special Bleemcast disc (anyone remember?) for Sega Dreamcast which allowed you to play GT2 on the Dreamcast with much improved graphics (interlaced).

It is a shocking car list there is about 40 different Nissan Skylines?!? 20 MX5's? there are more dihatsu's then there are Ferrari's what the hell?!

Too many japanise cars. shame there isnt an escort or sierra cosworth. theres a ford ka on there though!

Just noticed they have the top gear test track on there. but no silverstone or brands hatch

its a game made by japs and there is a "Ford Escort Rally Car '98" apparently unless you meant Mk1's or 2's

I 'promised' to buy a PS3 and GT5 only IF the classic Mini is in the game.
And so it is in the game... but still so disapointing it only have the rather 'harmless' Family-like Rover Mini 1.3i (and the Mini Marcos).
What is this about?????
There are old VW bus'es, 1954 Citroen 2CV, 4 'different' 60's Fiat 500's, 1949 VW Beetle, 1942 VW 'Schwimmwagen, 1944 VW Kubelwagen...
These cars doesn't even belong on a racetrack what so ever (maybe except for the Fiat 500 in Abarth disguise).
The Mini won everything in the 60s.
I'm still convinced that BMW doesn't want a Monte Carlo Mini beat up their 'replica'!
I blame it on BMW !
Oh - by the way there's three 'different' BMW Cooper S... 2002, 2005 and 2007 (what's the point - what's the difference???).
The 1960's Mini Cooper S has ALL the difference!!!!
I HOPE cars to win isn't on the list - cross my fingers we'll have a Monte Carlo Mini.
Hey - remember when GT4 came out...? The Mini was only available in the Japan version of the game.
It was deleted from the USA and Eurpean versions.... WHY ?
Can anyone come up with a credible explanation ?
And more important.... this GT5 car list is for the Japanese version of the game... do PD delete the classic Mini again????

BMW need to stop being so stuck up there own backsides over this mini branding situation.
Apparently there are going to be a few car packages that you can download off the playstation network.
Also when i first read the original list i saw there were z'car mini's and stuff :S shame there not on there tho
Ill buy it, as i have all the others and find it an "interesting" game

Do people really think its about the BMW stuff? Other than us mini entusiasts whos really going to be interested in driving a z-car or something? and if they did put something like that in then there would be hundreds of groups bitchin n moanin why their car hasnt been included

that list was of cars people wanted to be in it, unfortunatly not what is in it! it would have been awsome to have Z cars in there though!
