The colour is iron III oxide! No, sorry I'm being rude. You have a big heart to tackle that rust on the roof. Sorry I don't know the colour. All the best with your restoration

Just a suggestion re: your roof problem, I would seriously look out for a donor roof, whole or just a front piece with pillar, you probably need to replace the full pillar as the rust is within all the way down to you scuttle and top of flitch, cut out the corner and replace the lot!

repair but just got the panel ready so its just the repair that needs to be done when the whole car gets welded

after some effort the boot eventually got round to be sprayed with filler primer and it still needs some more filler and a finer grit of sanding paper
also I decided that I wanted minilites on my car so had a look on eBay and then that's when a whole set of 1968 6 x 10 wheels off of a cooper s admitingly they really need work as referbing is a must and so are new tyres but all in all and absolute bargin for £80 could anyone tell me how much the wheels would cost to be referbed or powder-coated anyway here they are and there a bit wider than the ones i have on at the moment

Great find with those wheels, they could be magnesium and if so then for the age 1968 they would be quite rare as they are whats known as the 'think flange' type, especially if they are the 10x6.
Have you measured the width of them just to make sure?
When i purchased my pre 1967 magnesium minilites (10x4.5" with rare groove near the outer flange) they were refurbished and had been sand/shot blasted and then platicoated or whatever it's called, then they were powdercoated. I suppose you could send them to Minilite or ring them so that they could advise the correct way of refurbishment.
Evan.

just checked some color charts, looks more towards Snap Dragon or also called Sun Yellow (BLVC235). Miniluke, I think the bronze yellow is a shade darker. My earlyer suggestion, Primula Yellow is definately wrong, far to light!I think your mini is Bronze Yellow... FMF (BLVC15)
It could even be Primula Yellow
