thanks for all the replies guys  I've ordered the same daytime LED wiring kit from CBS - so great minds think alike there

I do this kind of thing to try and be a bit 'unique' but most of you guys that know me, know that I like to do things so they have a 'factory-fit' look, so I just wanted to keep it clean and simple, and neat .

I think it'll look nice, may add some extra safety factor by adding visisbility, and assuming I can get hold of the innocenti rings via Mike at Rosslin Racing we should be onto a winner.

looks nice,
i was wondering if they were going to make DRL's compulsory as motorbikes have been wired so the lights come on day or night
to increase the chance of someone noticing you during the day why dont cars?

some people dont turn on their lights when its raining heavily or just poor visibility because its "not dark"

so yeah hopefully will reduce accidents

i just run my headlights on all the time when im in the car. when i didnt, people used to just pull out on me all the time. now it seems to only happen from time to time. i dont understand why car companies dont wire headlights to come on when the ignition is turned as seen in volvo's

DRL can look good with the likes of audi's and mercedes, not too keen on the DRL on the new Citreon's

ive been trying to think of somewhere to mount DRL on the mini, im not too keen on round the headlight. but on the indicator looks subtle enough to make it look good!

Can't wait to see pics of these mate, I know it's already been cleared up but up but you are allowed any static white led light at the front, aslong as it's not fog lights. I know of many modified cars with led strips posing as day running lights. White/orange lights to the front, red to the back and amber at the sides are all legal.

Also just incase under car neons are also legal aslong as there static and bulbs are not visible :D I know i okied it with Humberside traffic police.

Something like this perhaps, might look better if they were individual L.E.Ds ???

Sorry, but that looks awful. Maybe if the grille fitted together better with them, and with fewer led's it might look ok, but I normally hate retro-fitted DRL. Not a fan of the Citroen DS3 either, looks better with them off. But Audi is where it's at, I really like them on the newer Audi's, the A5 in particular.

It's funny, I had that idea a while ago, but I never really thought it would suit.
