Sorry, I really can't stand wheeler dealers. That Mike is incredibly annoying, and Ed's okay but he did do quite a few shoddy repairs to that mk1 mini. Never saw the carbon wrap one but I heard they wrapped over rust?

Like chopping out both a panel skins and only replacing the outer bottom half a panel using a full panel to start with. Then digging out a load of filler in the door only to go and replace it with yet more filler. :teehee:

couldnt agree more... considering how hyped up edd chinas skills are... im pretty sure he couldve reskinned a door? lol

and if i remember right... when mike brewer was on about checking the "subframes" he was patting the sill.

and that mk1 had a friggin MAHOOSIVE hole in the boot floor under the tank... wonder what the did about that eh?

It isn't a full resto documentary though guys n gals,

They do it as a bit of fun and to make a bit of cash, and plus you cannot guess what they do off screen, and what the other guys are doing on the project when the camera is not on them.

They do not show everything that they do....yes there are a few flaws, but they sold that mini for £2500 and it was a runner, unique and sold by a TV program, good price I think to be honest.

In the real world, they do not make a cent!!! Price up Edd's time at even minimum wage and they will have lost on every car.

I can't believe how many people are being forced to watch this program that they hate so much!!... Oh, wait.

Its a good show.. like anything, if you don't like it, don't watch it. Nobody complains about the use of Minis in scrapheap challenge now, do they?

i love watching wheeler dealers, mike brewer is quite annoying and when they started they did some pretty big bodges to be fair like the mk1 door that someone pointed out but theyve been getting better as the budget has been getting bigger, the jaguar e-type, brilliant episode and i didnt see any bodges in that episode :) il be watching it in a few minutes aswell :)

edit: apparently my mum wants to watch some crap instead >_<

Did you not notice the amount of rot on the inside of the panels when the lower half of the bonnet was replaced? Old one off, ignore the rot and slot the new panel straight over it.
