im liking the idea of building in day time running lights into the splitter, once there is a photo of the splitter fitted and painted, i could also be interested :)

I think its a good idea but not for me personally.

A word of advice though think about how you are going to fit them to the car before you make trials and prototypes as it likely to need abit more thought than expected.. Not sure self tapping screws is the answer for actually attaching unfortunately mainly speaking in terms of strength ( and they are not too good with mini body work (rust)) :)

How would you suggest fitting them?
I think it'l be a lot easier to work out when I have a couple to play with.

Bond some bolts in to the back of it. drill some holes in the car to put the bolts through.

Or you could have holes in the top to bolt to the bumper mount

Another update!
I know it's been a long time coming but in the next few weeks I should have a couple of trial/prototypes made up.
Might be a while before I can get it all painted up etc though but I will update when I have any news.
Would be nice to see if anyone else is interested too!
Cheers

no chance of having them done for L2B I'm afraid, I'm not a manufacturer so I don't think a clubby one's gunna be possible I'm afraid.
I don't even have a Clubman to test one out on!
Still not sure on fitting, will have to sort that out when I have some to play with but if anyone has any more suggestions let me know.
Cheers
