Okay, so there's many 17 year olds asking about insurance for new/young drivers.
Well to clear it up i got my insurance sorted today.

It is with Footman James, Third Part Fire and Theft.

My premium is £781.90 with a £75 excess and an agreed valuation of £2000.

I have declared all mods, with include Alloys (locking wheel nuts), Dual Exhaust, K+N Air Filter and CD Player.

They also told me that the Classic Car Policy only changes yearly. So it's just depending where you live and what Mods you got. I live in a fairly average post code area. Which is WF4.

This is for anyone looking at insurance for young drivers.

Edit: I also have unlimited mileage.

They'll quote under 25's for up to insurance group 10, from their scale of 1 to 20.

But you need to phone them.

Not too bad compared to mainstream insurers.
Similar sort of area, about £200 less for a standard 998 on 6000 miles pa.

There are draw backs to footman james.

You cant remove your back seats.
You cant have a roll cage.
You cant have any fiberglass panels, inside or out.

But for a standard car/ lightly modified, they are great ^_^
