Yeah, but did you check the pipe was clear and unbroken. Clear of blockages.

Will check the pipe tomorrow, is there a way of checking the canister itself on the crank breather?

Well after a head scratching momment with guys at Mintec in Newton Abbott we think we have solved the problem,
Oh so simple when you look at it, the crank breather hose was very loose and saggy. Since replacing it it has run fine.
