I did not get on very well at school so i was also off fast when the five year sentance finished. No idea what work to do so i went to a family Scrap yard/garage biz.I learnt a lot but it was not the job for me.We were lucky in those days we could do Aprentaships while working and get payed.Tried a Department store Beattes then clean, warm work and good pay plus loads of pretty birds. Then tried a tool warehouse. Then found the Art world and i was happy.Lots of other short jobs to even building and roofing. For some of us its very hard to find what we are good at and also love doing.
Craig you do love the Animal kingdom but with many high roles they would always go for an older person.I found that looking at some top jobs i fancyed one for West Mids. Transport years ago.I had all that was needed for the job 12 staff only and 60k a year, bit of a wage cut but still work, they gave it to a older person.Well down about that fact.
You do build you models prof. standard to with all the right mini workshop so you also like that.
Any fair job these days is well worth having and things are getting worse.
One i liked only as a hobby was inventing Dances for Clubs, one ended up on Top of the Pops.No pay for me.With one Club i just did the indoor work and only got payed in food and as much as i could drink.I liked that start at 10am finish at 2.00am.When much younger about 34.
Joke jolly:How about a Grave Digger, they need maths on size.

i've been asking my girlfriend to re-sit her maths gcse shes 19 now n shes worried it will cost to much not having a job n that but i need to look into this aswell but im sure they will do an evening course at a local college.

Suggest that she speaks to someone at her local job centre/ employment service, as I'm pretty sure that you are entitled to free or at least significantly subsidised further education courses if you have been unemployed for a certain amount of time. You certainly used to be entitled to that sort of thing any way!!

cheers man i'l have a look into it for her today at work!
