Insurance is the big problem on many cars most will not cover younger drivers at a fair price. Are you still going to get the car? or wait a while.

Telling me! 1600 quid (maybe a bit more as part of it is on monthly payments) for a crappy 1300 pug 309 :L

Well im really not sure, i like fords a lot but ive always wanted something sa bit different. Big appeal with this is its cheap and i dont have to go ventuing off the island to get it. (Which makes things expensive) My ideal car would be a retro jap, especially wagons and old boxy civic saloons, but its a case of finding one. The tina aint going anywhere anytime soon, but i stiill aint found a lockup or anything and after last weeks xmas shopping, no money eiother ;) so its still a possibility, lot wil swing on finding sumwhere for it.

Cars are expensive where you live.As you said if you can find a place to garage it a good investment even as spares. The Honda Civics are very well made and a nice car.I think you are thinking of the early ones, sold a Civic 1600cc Sport this year the square newer shape model.Very nice motor, they are wider and longer than they look and only two doors. The Classic 1300cc Triumph Aclaim is a very nice car if its rot free.Put the seller on hold and get them to sort out the papers on it first.we all love a good find.
