ive just orederd all new
window rubbers
check straps
all new austin cooper s boot and bonnet badges
nos kick panels
some more bright work
seam covers
monzer petrol cap
window nos channels

thats it for now till after christmas as want to save a bit to get new subframes and kad gear

I really like the barn find look be nice not to have to touch the paint and leave it all flat and old looking

yes going well thanks ive welded a new rear valence on and boot hinge lower panel which il upload pics tomz need to order a few more parts but cant order now till after christmas im getting the body work done first before i touch the engine ,yes it was barn stored but the last few months was outside and i ended up with it

hi here is a little up date i fitted the wheels as wanted to see what they look like. and ive striped the shell with subframes and engine speedo left. ive also made a start on the bare metaling and welded the hinge rear panel and rear valence.will get them pics up tomz parts used was heritage panels fitted spot on need to order few more panels after christmas .both inner sills drivers side front floor section, new bonnet.new hinges for doors ect as i want this in paint for end of jan.

going the same colour green to keep it retro and im doing a off white roof.to look at it will be a cooper s but with modern parts on cant wait till its in paint then its down hill best bit is bolting bits back on,at the min im cuting grinding welding .and looking round and hardly anythink is done but its the weather also slowing me down and my missus is due next week so not doing as much as id like but will get more pics tomz

im going to place another order in jan as part of christmas and birthday money so should get a bit what i need.as the plan is to get the shell painted end of jan then gives me a couple of months to get ready as want to do few shows this year combe ect as its only 15 mins away.the shell ive got isnt to bad but when i did strip few bits back it did rivial a few rusted bits,

a panels yep knew these was gone
rear valence also knew this was gone
rear hinge panel
front drivers side floor few pit holes ect so goner replace
doth inner sills
boot foor

not bad for a 67 year ive already welded the new valance,hinge panel,floor.so its only few more bits to weld im going upto work over the christmas break and take the engine out and do bit more welding then i got a spit it can go on so can clean all under side and etch primer it and stone chip it all.after that need to work on getting some pre 76 front and back subframes as im going to sell the hydrolastic set up to go dry as want to lower and stiffen the suspension will update later if can

ive orderd aload more bits today rest of the replacement panels i need to finish doing the welding.ive got all new wheel bearings,ball joints,braided brake lines,headlights ect ive done the pics of progress but left camera at work will get them on tomz.main thing i need is the bonet whick im finding hard to get

thats nice mate you got any more pics you ant to far either so be good to sse yours,yea done bit more again tonight so will get the pics tomz cant wait till i can start bolting all the new bits on .im taken old bits off at min and replacing metal ect
