hi all as its my birthday today i have done a £600 order so now been making progress ive welded a replacment inner sill in the lh/s thats all done im doing the rh/s tomorrow ive orderd a full inner rh/s wing which im waiting should be here wednesday,also orderd queit abit of engine bits so i can start stripping that and rebuild it.also orderd loads of body prep bits hight build primers ect ive done loads of pics so will get them on tomorrow

hi all sorry havnt posted had bit bad luck and need to find another turbo engine as mine has liners and are scored so anyone reading my thread has one get intouch ive done lots on the body work now so will get pics up cheers

well since my last post alot has happend with the mk1 ive got a fair bit of welding done and will be doing some more this weekend and me buying a 16k engine with 2 metro turbo i got as the last engine was off ebay and was shot so now i can move along with the project il post some pics later of how the car is now and il get some welding shots done tomorrow as got 1 a pannel to weld in and the other just needs finishing its all welded on with the strenthner.bought new heritage bonnet need to sought a boot lid out.ive got to weld the bottoms of the rear bins as wholed,back pieace of the rear floor just bit pitted,want the welding done then i can underseal the inside and underneath so i can paint it.im on look out for few things which il do a wanted ad for so i can keep this moving forward rather than standstill as september is my goal to get ready castle combe

cheers yea its getting there its currently in primer sept for the inside due to the bit more welding and the passanger a panel ,need more parts mainly to carry on
