just phoned adrian flux, got a quote for the mini with a metro turbo engine swap, which is basically what it is in my opinion, im 19, no no claim bonus, they quoted £1280, which i dont think is too bad, i dont have no claim bonus as i just learnt i dont get any with footman jamess classic car insurance.

blocks off being rebored, so when its back i can do a dry build and work out the compression ratio, then deck the block/head accordingly.

Trying to source a t2 turbo, i know there on renault 5 turbos, a friend also tells me that 1.9 turbo diesel peugeot 306's use the t2? Is that true, and what else could i pinch one from? And how do i identify the t2?

Loads of cars had a few different variations on the T2 turbo, with different compressor and turbines, with different trims, and A/R ratios.

Are you going to be using the mirage kit, and try squeeze it between the bulkhead and engine?

If so im not sure if any other t2 turbos fit.
