The entry form has been printed in the latest Modern MINI magazine which is on sale now, pretty sure there are still tickets...........maybe the recession has slowed ticket sales this year and I know some were thinking of giving the queues at CP a miss after the previous years delays at the start.

Yep ticket sales have certainly slowed this year. As you have said it will be the queues at CP that people cant stand any more. They need to come up with a more permanent solution or quite simply reduce the number of tickets they sell!

Also the forced parking has killed the atmosphere. Thats why I love MITP so much cuase you just put your minis in a big circle and make yourself a base camp!!

hiya guys , i want to camp with me two mates who have minis , but mine aint finished ,so will be going in a car (not a mini) what ticket do i need ? can i be added on one of there forms ,or do i have to be a passenger ? how much would it be for me in normal car ? and where can i park at crystal ? cheers guys

Not sure you will get into Crystal Palace Park in a non mini. You cetainly won't get in without a ticket unless you are a passenger in a ticket holding car.

cool so i can park outside crystal palace , get in a mini with a ticket , then walk out and get camping gear to camp ? i dont have to pay anything ? apart from my parking outside crystal if i have to ? lol im not tight its just if i have to get a ticket i need to know to send off.

Nope tickets are for the car only. People in it make no difference. To be honest crystal palace is a public place so just park your car outside and walk in you dont need to go in in your mates mini.

You can usually buy most of the contents of the run pack (T-Shirt, Plaque, Window sticker etc.) from the LSMOC stand at the Brighton end of the run.... or at least you used to be able to any way, maybe someone else will be able to confirm if you still can or not?
