Hi, i'm from south devon and am doing the L2B run. Seeing as though its our first time, do you guys know if we have to pay the congestion charge into London? Thanks

i dont think you do, i didnt last year and didnt get fined anyway, lol.

Crystal Palace is not in the charge area.

I think if your not in the main mini run, then you have to use the car parks in town. there are quite a few.

There are quite afew car parks within Brighton, Normally NCP i believe.
They do tend to be rather expensive so be prepared to pay alot.
There are also alot of parking restrictions within brighton and most residential areas are double yellow lined or require a permit to park.
In the past friends of mine have parked outside brighton and jumped on the bus down to the seafront, not only is this cheaper but you also don get stuck in all the traffic when trying to leave.

Start is around 8am but often runs late..........then takes a couple of hours at least for all the 2000+ Mini's to get let out into the main road traffic stream at CP.

Whereabouts is the marina as I've never tried parking there before and how much does it cost to park there?

In case you didn't park in the Marina car park I can vouch that it's free.

Yup I found the Marina and did indeed park there for free, so saving myself the usual £10 - £15 on parking in an NCP in town!! >_< I didn't realise that the Marina is literally a "stones throw" away from the end of Maderia Drive either and so for the first time ever, I walked the entire length of all the parked minis on Madeira Drive and not just the bit around the trade stands!! That's a whole lot of mini's!! :(
