You wouldn't expect to see this in the middle of Tokyo :(

They were celebrating 50 years of the Mini so they had to have a real Mini in their showroom lol

cheers buddy, i also have another one, Mr maruyama was in a recent mini mag

http://minimaruyama.co.jp/

I was there in Nov this year, awesome shop and he is the nicest and most helpful owner you could meet. His english isn't the best, but he speaks enough. Soo many things I wanted to buy there (their range of splitrims is :( but sadly had limited bag space and funds. did get a few goodies though

Twin cup holders with twin fag lighters

Posted Image

Set of racing beat mirrors (he went and got these from the stock room as they normally sell to the Japanese Tex branded ones for 10,000Yen more)
Posted Image

And the obligitory tank flap (black/white reversable :) )
Posted Image
As well as a free sticker :)

I wish I could read japanese :)

Bable fish is better than google translate (I found any way)

Thats cup holder I want sure it was in a mini magazine bet it cost a fortune to get one sent here though!!

Yep, Jeff was there 6 months before I went out and got a load of pic's. Not sure what the shipping would be, but that one cost me 90,000yen (about £85) and it doesn't weigh alot being fibreglass so it shouldn't be too bad. Send them an email, they are very helpful.

My brother went to japan for a month, he's into cars as I am, but definately leans towards the japanese scene. owns a subie, and digs all the cars they have that we didn't get. He appreciates the classis though, like Datsun 240's as well as british cars, so he went to a few mini shops along with the many tuner shops tehre. he brought back a few things for me.

The accelerator pedal is unfortunately not compatible with LHD cars, but I'll modify it in good time, too nice of a piece to remain unused!

So are you going to modify the pedal assembly or make your car RHD? I would convert to RHD to accentuate that pedal >_<

id love to go over to japan yes to look at all their minis,
but also because its a nation thats always facinated me, they dont just do things by half they pick it up then become the best.

im a bit of a horticulturalist, so some of the gardens displayed at chelsea by japanese designers are unbelieveable,
ive also got a few bonsai trees and they also happen to be the masters of that aswell.

It's great to see a proper mini in a BINI showroom. It really shows the Bini up, long live the mini! >_<
