Might have a try and see what your cable is like when you get the wiring diagram up then. How is the sound quality though?

Right i've just ordered my 12v to 8.5v converter and also my Pioneer AUX to RCA lead. Couldn't be bothered with making the lead myself and they only cost around £20 for both.

As for the TV I was thinking about getting one of these Clicky but im not sure. Obviously I wont be using the touch screen. I am just purchasing it for the size and quality. Does this seem ok? Does anyone have a TV they recommend?

Cheers, Jam2005

Cheers for the links miniboo but they not what I was quite looking for. I've just purchased the TV below. Bargin for £74 including postage, but I will see what it is like when it gets here.

Clicky

Now Im looking for some mounts for my PS2 to fit under the glovebox area in the passenger side. I was thinking of a sliding device so that i can load the discs easily but I can't seem to find any runners small enough. Ideally im looking for ones 20-25cm long so that the PS2 can be pulled out to insert games/dvds etc. Anyone know where I can get any from?

i suppose you could make some using a piece of 'C' section steel or ally and then another piece that would run inside it.

This is what put me off the slimline to be honest, if it had a drive that came out like the normal one i'd have one myself.

Ive just purchased some mini drawer runners. There 17mm in height, and when closed are 187mm and expand to 254mm so are ideal

Everything is ordered. Just need the part to arrive so I can start building the ps2 holder. Should have enough time as the TV will take a while to come from Hong Kong :nugget:

Will get some progress pictures up soon

most of the stuff that comes from hong kong doesn't tend to take that long, last thing i ordered was here within 5 days!.

Have you thought how you are going to lock the ps2 in place when on the runners?

The runners have a slight locking device. There the same as filing cabinet ones, just smaller :cheese: Hopefully should be ok. What do you suggest if they don't have the locking device?

I recently bought a pair of visor screens from a Hong Kong vendor and had no problems at all with them. In fact I received them faster than I did another item I bought at the same time form the UK.

On another note, what differences would there be between installing a PS2 and an xBox?

If there is no locking device on your runners, drill two holes in one of them, one hole in the shut position and one in the open and have a small pin on a chain or something to insert in the holes, that'll keep it in position.
