A customer of ours has a 1 series cabriolet in 135i guise, it certainly shifts when you stick your toe down.
There all quick enough really for what they are. Even the 120D is resonable.
Was not upto the performance of my previous mini but well, you could get to your destination not being deaf from gear noise or having your spine broken lol.
