Parked my mini on my drive!
The car is untaxed.
this morning its gone!!!!
SEIZED!!!!

Im sorry but it was on my F****** DRIVE!!!!

They all say that the law is for the good!!!

What good is it wasting time like this when there are f****** rapist, killer N S*** out there!!!!

HOW DO THEY EXPECT PEOPLE TO O BAY THE F****** LAW WHEN THEY DO POINTLESS S*** LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF I DONT GET MY CAR BACK I'LL SHOW THEM HOW ILLEGAL I CAN BE!

That's really not nice of them but I'm not sure when it comes into effect but doesn't it have to be declared sorb or have tax and insurance? I'm not sure you can leave them without one of these anymore

Cant believe the cheek of taking it off your own drive though.
But it should have been sorn mate. They are mo fos and I cant believe its happened to you.... but I doubt you have a leg to stand on if it wasnt Sorn. As annoyed as you are, be careful you act quick, and more importantly SMART so they dont crush it. Anger and frustration are not your friends right now!

So just been on the phone to the "No lifes."

And i have had to pay £260 to get me car back.

I guess there's an upside if i get it taxed within 16days i get £160 back.. Yay!! Wasting money!! WE ALL F***** LOVE IT!!

you can tax a car with the new keepers bit of the log book
you shud have got this when you bought the car

just for anyone else in a similar boat.....mini on the front of the house.....no tax or SORN.......get your sorn declarations in....

you only need registration, and the reference number from the V5 - also appears on the green tear-off bit I think

Didnt get anything the stupid p**** i bought the car off didnt have it.. ( I know what your thinking, but it was all legit)

It could of gone alot worse yes but then again I COULD OF NOT HAPPENED AT ALL!

Do SORN's need to be renewed? I dont think they do but worth checking whilst were on topic.

Then again - if they can find it, they can take it

Edit: Taxing/Sorn'ing off the new keepers slip doesnt always work online as they issue a new doc ref number when they changeover the ownership - not sure about post offices though.

This just reminded me to SORN my mini! Just done it online in about 30 seconds but the last time it was registered/taxed/sorn'ed was in '07 I'm REALLY hoping I dont get a blooody big fine come through.....

i have to renew my sorn each year, depresses the hell out of me! hopefully get it done up to tax it etc this year!
