right then with the time booked off work the 4 day push is on from the 17th to the 20th of feb. so the plan is to reskin the new n/s door , finnish the repair to the n/s qurter panel and fit the new back panel , and if i get time spray the underside of the car and engine bay .( well heres hopein )

day 1of 4 of the big push part 2

well a good day test fitted the new door i got the the show and it fits well so with the rust on the botttom i had a skin from the old door so thinking it best i fitted it . test fitted the door back on the car and alls well so put a little filler in it just to take out my hammer marks , and will prime it 2moza

if you look back at my old posts you will see this started but not finnish as i ran out of gas lol

so i got round to finnishing it today put a steel plate in and welded but needed to make the lip for the window so what i did was welded a bit of steel upright and then cut it down to suit grided it all down with a skim of filler and got this whitch i think looks good

looking good that door, shame about the hammering marks, are you using a rubber dolly to absorb the hammer tapping?? because that is required doing a job like that,.....filling is ok but try and avoid that

You doe a grand job on the rear window repair for sure

day 2 of for 4

what f*^k up iam will p*^^ed off the man i was getting the back panel of is a C^^T , ******* , TW*T. we rang him today so we can drive over to his house to get the back panel and said the mini shells he has got are to good to cut up so no , but i will sell you a mint shell for £400 , so my mate told him he was a tw*t .

so we drove around look for sum where to get the parts we need for the mini , when we found a mini shop in cannock he said i need to order them and thay will be here tuesday , all i can say is its a f*^kin good job i did not cut the back of the car off as wood of killed that c*^t today what a prick .

Has the induvidual got a name, is he on here,...name and shame, perhaps,......he obiously trying to pull a fast one, and is not honerable! I generally don't swear appart from in the kitchen but what a f......n p.....r.
how much did the mnew panel put you back? £180 plus driving arround?

not know if he is on here to be honnest be it makes me think as 3 times now he has told us he has sum mint mini shells ( are thay nicked ) i wood like to have a look round his place i tell ye .

the new hing panel and lamp panels cost about £50 so not bad as that p*^$ was looking at £100 for the back panel
