I haven't "slammend" mine by any means, but I couldn't go any lower, I have just over a 1 finger gap between the actual metal arch of the car (not the arch extension) and the wheel. There are some speed bumps i can go over, and have been known to reverse away form them, with the sound tune of beeping horns reminating!!! you can see the rear in one of the pics, i would say its quite low!

I do wonder about my car though, not sure if anyone can help; it is a 1996 but a lmd edition German export (silver bullet). I understand it was fitted with 13x6 wheels as standard, would this mean that the arches had been "trimmed" as per the later sportspacks

Firstly love your mini it got that euro look a bout it fair play I wouldn't be Runing mine as low but want to know can you get full steering lock without rubbing and does your wheels hit of the inside of your arches or your extension's over bumps while driving normally

Dont worry about being sensible go as low as you can if you struggle going over speed bumps you stop go over in 1st and at an angle, all my friends drive slammed cars and so do i all for daliy drivers, i couldnt drive anything else, you just drive as the road allows you too, dont be scared just slam it.

by the way those campers are insanse cant wait till im rolling in my very own :P

You can get people in the back lol

I tried getin in the back of mine once but without sucess I'm far to tall

I don't really think not having people in the back will affect me I don't think anyone will get in the back with how far back I have the drivers seat

My car has been rubbed at the rear, lowered with hilos and has 13x7s. There is 3 inches between the ground and sump guard. Front and back fairly level. When comparing cars You need to look at the line along the bottom of doors and see where it is in comparison to centre of wheels to see how high the car is.

I can carry rear seat passengers with no scraping. In my opinion tubbing is essential with big tyres.

Cool drawing!

No I didnt do it myself, but have had a low Mini that wasnt before, and this one, and it is so much better not having tyres banging around, particularly with passengers. My car is low and you can still take 4 adults comfortably.
