Well I find myself struggling to read half of the stuff on here these days...

A lot of people on here seem quite young and unable to spell or unwilling.

Just for the youth....

Too be fair I can see why you dislike this 'text' speech but It doesn't really bother me to the point where I moan about it. I just deal with it, after all unless it a huge amount of writing it doesn't take that much longer to read does it?

The world is changing, I am only 25, but at the age of 16/17/18 could spell "thought" (thaught) "mine" (myn)!

I'm 17 and try to spell correctly in all posts. I will be the first to admit my grammer may not be up scratch but hey, is it any more difficult to read 'i' than it is 'I'?

I can't spell but I do my best, and look things up if need be. However some times I don't notice them.

but I agree this shortening words "text speak" is starting to get annoying turbominis won't help if a post is in text speak and it makes for a much nicer forum as it's far easier to read everything posted.

If something is in text speak you have to sit and think about every word it's just annoying.
