Anymore development on this? I was trying to find the article that was written up in either Miniworld or Mini Mag of an installation with no luck. I did find an article about just fitting there SC ignition kit, but not the whole EFI kit. I think I may have a go at it on 1 of these projects over the winter... I wonder if it would work with a 1275 Auto, I don't see why it would be a problem, would the crank sensor still mount the same??? That's the only difference I can think of.

I spoke with John, and the TMF discount no longer applies, and it hasn't for a long time apparently. I spoke with him about mocking it up on a Auto unit, and I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, but the only hang up is the kickdown/throttle jacker on the auto unit. With that said, both our thoughts are that you could obviously make a bracket to mount the the throttle to connect to the throttle jacker. Hopefully that will work... I am about 99% certain I am going to give it a go. I'm planning on trying it out on a 998 auto to start and see if that makes me happy for a bit. My only dislike of the 998 auto is the final drive/gearing. While it accelerates fine, the top end leaves more to be disered, less revs would be nice. I do have a lead on a 1275 auto but the history is unknown, which leads me to just use what I got. I wonder if anyone has swapped a 1275 auto gearbox for a 998 for the beefier package and gearing...

They ran this on the dyno in one of the recent mini mags (2-4 months ago) but had some setup issues so never actually gave any figures.

I'd be interested in this also but them being the opposite end of the country to me id have issues getting it mapped.

I guess they will be at bingley hall show at the end of january for a chat.

I was as well a little concerned about the mapping, however, from what I understand the software that is provided is 2nd to none. All 3d graphs, etc. To make me feel better my buddy actually did a 7 port and 5 port EFI kit from SC and said it was one of the best investments he had ever made. Lastly my buddy has a tuner friend that checked it out and loves the software and has a dyno/rollers to set it up on a town over from me.

I still am trying to track down which issue had the full install in it in Mini Mag or Mini World. Would love to know.
