ITV Weather forecast came on

"there has been no weather today"
Sorry I didn't realise I was dead because the atmosphere had ceased to exist.
What you meant to say it the weather was sunny rather than raining.

A girl I know makes me laugh when she says "He shutted up".

Also when I worked at the front of the shop serving customers, if the customer entered their PIN incorrectly they would say "Oh I must've put in wrong". Ya think?

These customer stories remind me of a website.

When people insist motocross forks should be called motocross fork because there is only one of them, that really annouys me because there is 2 and there for are a set of forks for a motocross bike.

i work in Halfords as well and it annoys me when people come in asking for a bulb, which bulb is needing replaced...

and they say " arnt all bulbs the same " winds me up!

another is when im heading out to the customers car, and they say something along the lines of " i can only top up my screenwash and petrol in my car" i ask the customer to open the bonnet, and they reply how is it i do that? You should know, if you have topped up the screenwash in your car! unless you are putting it in the wrong place!!

This is another thing that annoys me people calling a lamp a bulb, a bulb is something you put in the garden not into a light socket.

Pacific instead of specific.

I hate it but my wife really gets annoyed, I sometimes drop it in for a reaction.

Being told to calm down (as above mentioned), made worse when I am in fact not that angry yet.

One of my old course instructors used to say " and from that side of things" on a very regular basis. He peaked at saying it 109 times in one day and when you are on a 10 week type rating course it just does your head in.
