Hello all.

Thought I'd pop back on here after a couple of years of absence.

My current car is a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting, despite what others may say it is great fun to drive. Almost as good as a Mini.

Here's me posing next to it like a loser.

Bought for the small sum of £650. Had 11 months MOT, 6 months tax and a genuine 29,000 miles on the clock.

Before anyone asks, I probably will get another Mini in the future.

Hello James, nice to see you back!!

All you need to do is paint the roof silver, squint and it kinda looks like your old mini!!

Hey Sean.

I was actually considering dressing it up like a Cooper for Rivi Run as a joke!

Perhaps, but to be honest I don't actually need the space so much these days. Hence selling the Focus for a Cinq.

Will probably end up getting a injection Cooper again, that is if I do ever buy another Mini.

Looking through some old photos and found this from a issue of Mini Magazine in 2008.

Suppose I better list what I've done to it so far:

- Sony Xplod CD Player
- Sony 10cm front speakers
- K&N Induction kit
- Bumper trim painted red
- Fiat front badge painted red and rear Fiat badge removed
- Front brake calipers and cam cover painted red
- Number plates replaced

Other then that the rest is totally standard.

Only had to replace a couple of sensors in the 9 months I've owned it. It's been very reliable.

Hey Juju.

When you say pink, do you mean red? >_<

It's been on there for ages, I guess the £7.5K asking price is too steep. More then double what I sold it for and nearly three times as much as I originally bought it for!

Here it is!

Nope! Pink. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK.

(It might just be my dodgy monitor!)

Jebus! :)

Mind you, they still have an anthracite sportspack I had my eye on before I bought my 'tilda, and that was 5 years ago. Their stock just don't shift at those crazy prices.

What's the cinqi like to drive? Loads of students at work have them, and I rather like 'em (the cars, not the students...).

Bought a Mini accelerator pedal to clamp over as the Fiats one is too small and awkward.

Looking at the photos, not so sure about the red Fiat badge now. Any suggestions? Can't just take it off as there's holes and a recess underneith.

The Cinquecento is great fun to drive, a bit more body roll then a Mini but still very chuckable. Highly recommend the Sporting due to the wider tyres, anti-roll bar and lowered springs. Like a Mini, you can really feel what the back is doing unlike some FWD cars I've driven.
