how many of you use your classic as an everyday car, and wots the oldest mini in everyday use?

my '89 is my second car that gets used twice a wk.

I use mine as a daily drive, used it everyday all through the last 2 winters we have had without any problems and was the only one (bar the 4x4) to make it up our street in the 1ft deep snow we had mines a 1980

my 96 spi is my everyday but i don't do too many miles as i work from home!!
she's never let me down, well apart from once, but i don't like the rain either so i let her off

Never let me or the other two previous owners down!
I know them both well so I've seen it go for years before finally managed to get my paws on it

mines my daily, cant afford insurance on anything new, so she does the winters aswell.
unless someone steals her fuel.

When I'm not at Uni my '1971' clubman estate gets used everyday, it would get used a lot more but there is no need for it in London.

My '72 850 mk3 is my daily driver but at the moment hasn't got a mot, still has the original 850 engine

I used to daily drive my 1969 elf. Only ever broke down twice, Once when the diff shattered in the snow and then when the driveshaft coupling snapped

My mpi is my daily, she's a 2001 and she's let me down 2001 times serviced regularly i always get little things going on it and recently the gearbox went, clogged my oil pump up and so the engine followed, just shows how much better the earlier minis are from what everybody has wrote above.

Mine's an everyday car. Although its not used everyday as I commute to work.......

Its a 77 Clubman

My '89 is used everyday. Only had it breakdown once in the snow when slush coated the dizzy.

My 64 mk1 is my daily driver unless, as now, the sun is shining and I can use my 74 peugeot 304 cabriolet. Does that make me the winningest?

must confess ( and dont all boo) my daily is a 2003 cooper of bmw origin.......

.... but i must say apart from the confort of the newer car it really is quite similar alought the old mini has more room inside...not sure how tho lmao
