ahh so in this case i will be able to buy a 4 channel amp which wil allow me to run 2 6.5 subs and a pair of component speakers with tweeters?

Yes, as long as you get a Component set with passive crossovers (most will). Then you bridge two of the 4 Channels to run the subs and the use the other two, one for each side of the the Component set.

If you have the money running Active would be preferred. with this you do not use the passive crossover that come with the Component set. You have a pair of channels for the Tweeters, and another pair for the Mids. Then you use the mono channel (If your using a 5 Channel amp) to power the sub/subs.
In a Active setup the amp only send the correct frequencies to the speakers.
This save power, as you are not having the passive crossover sap power from you amps as they filter.
