She started!! Sean from Metropower pretty walked over, whacked a lead off the starter and started it manually on the starter and fired up perfect. It's a lead that comes from the gearbox to the starter which is knackered. No biggy. Cheers Sean!!

I'm glad it runs again Craig !

Ohw and towing an automatic CAN be done, just at a low speed and a short distance, with the transmission in Neutral, so when you have no choice, just tow it careful and slow to a safer place, done that several times without any probs..

Still, you need to make a list of modifications and projects to do on the Metro, so you can scratch those from your list when finished, while we cn follow what still to do

YepNeed to get my brakes on, fit my airbag wheel, get the rear 'trim'... fitted among a few other jobs. Brakes are main priority.
That sounds like 200 pages worth at least!!
