Although you can only get a roll cage for a 3dr and getting one custom made to fit the 5dr would cost about 500 quid more.

Cut your losses, weigh it in. Keep the seats and use em in the mini you buy, they'll be a constant reminder of your folly!!

Job Done.

I'm just being the voice of reason here!

The sooner he turns it into baked bean cans, the sooner he can move his life along, you simply can't make an ommlette without breaking eggs.

I wont be buying a Mini anytime soon Sean...

It's still broken today. No attempt to turn over when you turn the key and if you start it on the starter motor it cuts out straight away

Raped it with a meter all morning, just went over everything and fixed whatever was broken. Took 4 hours all in with a break for Jeremy Kyle but its all good now...

if a little tappety. Hopefully where its been sat a while, a drive after work tomorrow might sort that I hope. Had the cam cover off and given the top a clean, bolted it back on and started her... back off and theres plenty of oil up there so it's not the feed to the head, just hope the oil's drained to the sump and just needs a little run to get going again.

Failing that, it could be piston slap. An excuse to go 16 valves though
