I've been learning in a Fiesta Zetec a 2010 model and it makes me feel sick lol, I hate driving it. The sense of the speed isnt there like my Metro and the driving position feels horrible. The tro is similar to a Mini driving position, and everything shakes and rattles and it's all really crap, I love it.

I also love the attention it gets everywhere. :)

It was pretty funny actually, I was thinking to myself "Oh remember that time at christmas when you slipped with that blade and sliced your..." and then I slipped with a blade and sliced my thumb almost off LOL

Did serrrriously hurt and made me feel a bit faint when I had to put the flap of skin back to hide the bone!! :X

I got a layer of clear on matey... the spoiler caps are crap and ruin the smooth look though. Gonna have to some up I think. Standard Rover fitment has let me down again

Edit: I do love the auto and it's actually pretty quick but you just can't feel the road like you can with a manual. I think 'budget's (lololololololol)' won't really allow for a 2nd track car with my other R100 like I'd planned after the insurance on this road hog so I'll have to work on maker her faster and lighter!

Just a quick note. I wouldn't use the engine out of a GTI mate. Get one out of a 214 or the likes, will be easier for you and will go in easier than a GTI engine. (GTI engine being 3AS ect) meaning you would have to change inlets, injectors ect ect. Also the GTI engine is exactly the same as one out of a 214 or whatever. I wouldn't go for a 25 engine though as that would be MEMS3, you will need a converted loom to drop this in and imo MEMS3 isn't really any better than MEMS1.9.

I'd eventually be going for a mappable ECU in Megajolt or the likes anyway so that side isnt really an issue buddy... I'll keep an eye out for 214's, they go for a LOT cheaper than Metro GTI's themselves anyway so cheers! :)

ECU related starting problems (again). Had a brake light bulb out so I replaced it, nothing, changed the fuse, nothing. I tryed the cluster on the other side and it was the same prob so it isn't the cluster, reverse lamp works, indicator works, but break light doesnt.

Anyway, somehow this problem has ended up with the car not starting, at all. I can start it on the starter like I used to before we rewired the Inhibitor relay but it dies straight away. Which means either ECU or Immobilizer.

It's all really rediculous. I'd happily bypass the immobilizer and live without central locking blah blah but you can't bypass it like you could on the Mk3 and earlier tro's, it's a mission. :(

I just want a car that works

Unless it's all gone tits up at the same time which is highly unlikely. We realized the brake light was out I told my dad I'd change it tomorrow, we'd just been to London in the car and it didnt miss a beat?
