Thanks buddy! You'll have to come round for a ganders sometime :trooper:

I know! I thought the same... I've been lucky with this one, and hopefully if I catch the bubbling quick enough it wont be such a huge problem to correct. Found a lovely puddle in my floor pan last night though... the door seal is shot completely.

:) do it! It made us all laugh I think... Medway Mini Club convoys by christmas will be:

A Mini Estate
Another Mini Estate
A Citreon AX
A Rover 114 GSi... :D

Minijosh92 took her for a spin after our convoy stopped at mine from Gaydon Mini festival. We discovered that the 'L' gear means 'loud' but makes no change in performance! :)

Pmsl! just made loads more noise and the speedo didn't move, haha

:)! Your Headunit is in now by the way. :)

Also, she's letting in water like some crazy thing... the soundproofing was litterally drenched after I washed it (squeezed out soapy water) It needs a new drivers side door seal, but its definitely not leaking from there.

The heater intake, Ben told me in a problem area for letting in water, and obviously the windscreen seal. Any other ideas anyone?

Rear arches is the killer on later (Rover) Metros. Although they are quite prone to rust... £600 will buy you something super solid. Mines very solid, rust is appearing on the left rear arch. I give it till Christmas before I need MOT welding.

I told somebody next door that the metro was just to fill in a gap until I can get a decent Mini and I think it must have heard because It wouldnt start earlier! And then I said sorry and it worked fine. I'm a physco.

Tommorow I'll get a proper update with actual progress. Strangely all I've done in my spare time is work on the car, regardless of how it looks in this thread ;)

Also going to look at a GTi I've been offered for £200 on Friday. Seems too good to break for spares though...
