I like what you've done with your Paul Smith.

That's nice.

It's a shame late cars go around the scuttle like that.

Tell me about it.

I've got a '67 Elf and an '89 30.

The 30 has just rotted away whilst Elfie is in MUCH better shape.

Well its been a long time since i worked on the Wolseley but took the engine out at the weekend to put in my MK1 project and started to put the new engine in the wolseley.

Just got to sort out bonnet issues

Choices

1 lower engine mounts in the subframe

2. Lower the subframe

3. make bulge in the bonnet

You could use an auto subframe as the "hole" in the middle is wider so the engine sit lower in it.

That was a thought but buy the time I find a mk1 auto subframe and the have it powder coated, it would be easier to make custom mounts I onle need about 10mm

Long time since any update on this one, it's hard to find time as currently restoring a convertible for my wife and also keeping on top of the Mk1 and Paul Smith.

Anyway more problems fitted the exhaust manifold and it hits the bulkhead and I can't get the engine far enough back to bolt the engine mounts back up, anyone had the same problem?
