not the backbox itself, the bracket mounts to boot floor, so it needs drilling then bolting to the 'u' bend on the exhaust box.

They are musical air horns, which is why i stated only gunna be used on private land etc etc.

theres 5 horns. £24.99 from ebay user: unicar1

You can fit them anywhere you like. I have mine fitted in the boot. compresser bolted into bk of seat and horns under parcel shelf.

They use a relay which was the hardest part, i got kane to help me as i dont understand electronics. Rest is just a matter of wiring and fitting tubes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just been out and i nocked my exhuast today in C**p car park at college, so went to check if i had done any damage to any of it. Thankfully i hadent, so when i had air filter off, i thought i would just check over the carb as i have been smelling petrol lately. So i went out, looked fine......turned engine over and .... :P it came peeing out of the float chamber. Luckly i have a spare carb (as well as engine) in my garage, so i went and replaced the new gasket from the spare and the top with the one on. Once fitting it was running fine again, no petrol to be seen.

The breather pipe from carb had split, so i cut the end of and fixed that back on.

The exhaust isnt blowing, but the engine bay seems to be getting soot from somewhere. It seems to be the inlet and manifold joins to the head. I think i will order complete new gaskets and take a weekend off work in a month or so.

The clutch is still slipping even after adjustment, so i am gunna get a machanic from brotherton who specialises in mini's to put me a new one in.

Once the clutch is done, its back to buying new panels for the front end.

As some of you will know, i've also fitted 6x9's in the parcel shelf and UV neons under dash (just because we cud lol).

Will post some pics when i get camera back off my brother. I suppose its all worth the money in the end, i'll have a car to be proud of and love driving (like i do now)

Oh and hopefully now the fueling is sorted, it wont cost asmuch to run hehe

as some of u may know, i am getting the car sprayed in afew months. Well since replacing panels etc only lasts afew years till they rust, i set out to find a fibreglass flip front and i did.

Was a bargin too, lovely guy who just wanted rid. Gunna be a long trek for it, but well worth it i hope.

Thats cool, like the built in arches.

Should have my wheels sorted in next week or 2 also, mums buying me the 2 New A panels i need and once its all been rubbed down, it can be stripped down and sent off for a respray (when i can afford it ofcourse)

How much is metalic blue paint, primer and lacquer these days to cover a mini? errr..... :dontgetit:

I hope it comes out with a good lasting finish, as i intend to get everything sorted on this car towards next summer, so i can attend some mini shows without been embrassed.

Order clutch seal, clutch kit and brace bars for flipfront.

Dads paying for clutch doing because i just havent got time, i cannot have no car for over a day, i'll be stuck for work n college.

Yesterday, when i visited dads to see his new jaguar, he noticed my front right tire was deformed and ready for a blow-out, so i have to replace this with the spare which meant i couldnt get to siggy's.

Replaced manifold gasket and its stopped blowing, but the flange on the manifold neck is cracked and the exhaust fumes are coming into the engine bay. Gunna change manifolds 2nite....got cam back so i will get some updated pics for you guys.

Gotta charge battery and swap manifold 2nite, dammit.
