Decided to try getting the chrome wipers to actually clean the windscreen.

The trick was to bend the blades straight and use the springs from the original wipers.

You fitted all your shiny bits from Combe yet then?

Nope, I only just got back from Castle Combe on Monday

De-cat pipe came in the post yesterday, tried to fit it last night but the front bolts are rusted on. Will give it another go tonight while it's still light.

Also got my overriders through the post, but they didn't come with much trim or any bolts to hold them onto the bumper.

Where did you get your overriders from James? My W&P ones are okay, but the trim and bolts they came with were real cheap tat and both replaced before fitting. Not having it may be a blessing in disguise! Did they come with the bit of metal you tighten the bolt on to, against the bumper?

I bought them off Ebay, not sure I'll be doing that again!

They each have a plate welded to them with a screw hole, but no actual bolts to go into them. Appears to be M8 sized.

Next on the list is to fit the de-cat pipe and the chrome bits for the scuttle.

Totally agree, I am looking to fit a centre speedo at some point and perhaps convert to 7.5" disc for 10" wheels.

Have been reading up on how to convert to a centre speedo, looks scary but I'll give it a try. A conversion kit would be great.

I wish I'd thought of getting chrome trim for the overriders!

The minispares loom converter is rubbish, the bulb connectors simply wont allow the screw bulbs to stay in, so I bought some 501 bulb holders instead. Its a relatively easy job too, just try and find a speedo with the tpm you want, so your not faffing around changing the drive gears :)

It's actually meant to be for a motorbike windscreen.

Turns per mile. Should be on your clocks somewhere, I can't remember off the top of my head though, but I think it's in the FAQ. If you get one with roughly the same tpm, your speedo will show the correct speed still. If it's different, like mine was, you need to change the awkward worm drives in the speedo housing to get it to display the right speed.
