For good measure i just fitted some plugs, can't do no harm, not worth posting a pic

I then went about stripping my rocker cover, it didn't really suit my colour scheme and i had some nitromours spare, here is how it started.

It took an age to do lol...

And fitted, not the best job but i think it looks a lot better than before

Then I went about fitting my chrome arch trim, here is the end result...

Then I hit a snag, any help here would be appreciated. I got an ultimate engine stabiliser due to being fed up of depending on the original and having to reseal the exhaust y piece every 5 minutes. I went to fit it but the part that the vacum pipe goes onto is the the way and so is the heater pipe from the rad. What can I do to solve this? Picture says it all really...

The keen eyed reader may have noticed the sticker in my back window...

Well it was my cousins old hockey number who died a few years ago in a car crash when in the icy times a few winters back his car spun and so did another, they hit eachother and he was a really really tall fellow and his headrest was too short

Great looking mini mate. Love the wheels. I agree, they are the best 13s on the market
ive had my eye on them from day 1, and you got the ones with the studs too
Good choice!!! Im just concerned as to whether im gonna ave to chop my arch. Im fitting the zeemax bodykit to my bare shell so this is kinda worrying as im gonna ave to trial fit first :S which means building the subframe up and buying the wheels
Sorry for a slow reply, you will deffinately have to cut the arches with these as they are very wide and have a lot of offset, it's highly unlikely you will get away without cutting the arches.
Bit of an update on nicholas, the clutch woes returned so i replaced the slave cylinder and it seems to have done the trick, access was such a pain though!
Now for the part of the update with pictures, cause i know we all like pictures

I went about cleaning up the manifold as it had quite a lot of surface rust on it.

But after attacking it with a wire brush and giving a lick of paint from some high temperature I found lying aroung it looked like this...

I haven't got many pics of the rc40 backbox before and after, it was in quite a bad way but i managed to clean it up to a reasonable standard. I much prefer the look of this one to my old exhaust tip.

It is so much more responsive off the bottom and seems to pick up better through the lower revs. Very pleased and all for free

Todays task is to fit this beauty, just not quite sure how I am going to tackle the shear head bolts, any tips?

I just took mine out last week. Get the grinder and cut a slot through the bottom head. Some WD40 and you should be able to unscrew the bolts from underneath the dash

Now for the part of the update with pictures, cause i know we all like picturesI got a bit tired of my poor quality lcb as the seal forever kept breaking and it would rub against the pot joint. A very kind fella offered me a cooper freeflow manifold and an rc40 backbox, so i jumped on the chance. A very big thanks to him again
A short trip later and I had this little lot, he also threw in a brand new grille

Todays task of fitting the steering bracket turned out to be a pig, got it done in the end though, problem was getting the shear bolts out and finding some replacements, anyway i will let the pics do the talking.
Do you reckon this is low enough?

I think it looks very pimp, love the way it looks, this is at lowest height.

I can be very destructive when i want to be

Here is the finished article, i have it at half way at the moment and it feels so strange, but in a good way, kinda wish my seats were a bit lower, hopefully my new ones will sit a bit lower.

Not really an update but seeing as the indian summer has left us I thought it was about time I made space in the garage, it is a tight fit but I hope to get rid if a load more junk in the not to distant future. At least it is not sat out on the drive now having to cope with the elements.
