Oh yeah and a quick thing. Whilst driving home back down the road from CC towards the cross hands hotel heading towards the M4 there was an Mini estate i think it was on the side of the road pretty bashed up. Looked like it had ploughed into the hedge and rolled? Anyone know what happened and if the driver was ok?

That estate is mine sadly was having a bit of fun on the way back, possibly a little faster then was safe, the back end slipped, fish tailed the other way, clipped the grass bank and rolled a few times into the field! was not fun



I walked away. went to hospital, no damage and only one mark on my body from it. I was bloody lucky!

It's at home on the drive awaiting a decision from me and dad on what happens next.

So sorry to hear that Keats, pleased you're ok, really gutted for you!

It was a last minute decision whether to go but decided Sat morning to do the four hour journey over, was a really brilliant show despite not feeling great. Was lovely to see so many friends and catch up. Was such a great event with so much to see and the weather was great to boot.

bad times indeed! But as people have said glad you are ok! thats what really matters Still seems in good nick for rolling into a field to be honest! Just seen you have to sell it. Sorry to hear!

i would absolutely love to rebuild it, but my dad just wants me to sell it because i don't have any money, or time i expect i'll be ebaying it all as one for a rebuild. I wanted to strip it down to sell, but my dad doesn't want it in the drive for ages while i do so i'm trying to get it valued now, but not having much success

Never been to Castle Combe before so wasn't sure what to expect, but I had a great time!

Was really nice to catch up with a few people from here and put a couple of names to faces.

Thanks to the random Mini convoy on the M4 for letting me follow them to the show, as I would have got lost otherwise!

Mini was playing up a bit on the way to Wales, but then it was completely fine driving back to Slough last night. Strange.

If anyone has a certain car they were driving on the day (got a few of the lunchtime lap aswell) let me know and ill see if i got one of you
