their just stupid, next year im just going to split the line upto the rev counter or something.... its stupid! there testing it in a close envoment aswell, when i had the car tested (i took it up once) i told the cars behind to stay back and pulled it in at an angle to stop it resinating against the cars which were so close, funnily enough it dropped a couple of dbs by simply doing that. The car in question has been on quite a few track days and its drive by noise is below 70dbs under load... there were alot there well above that!

I had a fabulous time at Castle Combe yesterday! :gimme:

I arrived at about quarter to 9am and by 10 past, I was being strapped in Bill Richards' Roundnose racing mini! I had a amazing few laps, and must say it was better than last year's laps! Thank you so much Bill, professional as usual, and providing impressive racing to watch all day. It was so wonderful to see so many people signing up for the charity runs, I don't think I saw any race start without Mighty Mini's or Bill out there with passengers. I hope you all raised plenty! :proud:

The racing was fantastically thrilling as always, was so pleased that there weren't too many incidents, appears more near misses than anything! O_O The autojumble was bustling as well as all the stalls, and it was lovely to see so many clubs stands this year.

Many thanks to those who approached me and introduced themselves, it's always lovely to meet new people :D And thanks to those who came over to catch up ;D

I took quite a few photos, my main focus was the racing rather than the club stands, but here is the link, feel free to tag yourselves. Any problems with the link, then let me know and I'll sort it.

Looking forward to next year already!! :w00t:

I think we had more mighty's out there this year than ever before, everyone who rode with me seemed to enjoy love it even when we went off onto the grass at around 90mph :) and you even managed to get a few photos of me (although in the background lol)
I got through noise early, the guy seemed a bit half soaked, and mine seemed to be around 4db different to what it is normally.

One thing you really shouldn't at combe involving the noise meter thing is take a car though that fails then take someone else's car that passes then when they give you the sticker you defo shouldn't go and put in on the car that failed by mistake.

I must admit, had I had enough monies, I would have bought a lap with Mighty Minis, as well as Bill Richards, watching you lot out that was most entertaining - especially the feeling of competiveness! I saved my cash for Bill over the past few months, perhaps I'll start saving now so I can have another go around the track with Bill, but also book a lap or two with you guys as well!

Never :) we wernt trying to race (well not to much, but its hard not to when you put the helmet on), although with an extra person I was only around 2 seconds a lap slower than a race. Did you get any pictures of me (silver one with the black carbon effect roof)?

I honestly don't know, by all means have a look, I put all the bad shots in the recycle bin, and so all I took which were clear are on the link I posted.

Bah, there was a little there, and it was brilliant to watch :)

£30 for Bill Richards which went to the RNLI

And I was told it was £20 to go with a member of Mighty Minis which went to Cancer Research - correct me if I'm wrong!

It's excellent, you get the experience of being on the track, but with a race driver who knows what they're doing and safely! It's well worth it, whichever driver you go with :D

The guys doing the charity laps (i think it may be the bill who is mentioned and also a couple of the guys in the light blue minispares? cars) and even some of the regular drivers were more than impressive to watch! must have some excellent stuff under the bonnet and some gonads to match! Was nerveracking just watching them take the bends at god knows what speed :D definatly going to pay for some passanger lappage next year!
