Just poped up in my head how cool/ good looking it would be to have a clear rocker cover so you could see your rockers doing there bit. Any one know if there are any on the Market ? Or even a company that could make one for me ?
Thanks Andrew

Wouldn't eventually it get full of oil? Therefore just making it look dirty? It would need some sort of agent to stop the oil sticking therefore probably not cost effective but I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a better explanation

Would be an amazing idea but I imagine it would get covered in oil almost immediately (if my rocker cover is anything to go by) :(
Would look brilliant on a show car though, i.e. drive there with a normal cover then swap for the clear one when you get there !

Great for a trailer queen, not so good for a daily driver!

I remember talk of one a while ago, and people said it wasnt worth doing because it would just get covered in Oil and there for look black. Maybe one for show?

It would be good, but ive kind of gone off the idea over the years!

I still like airbrused rocker covers! Make it really personal! Get yourself air brushed on it, or your mini? or you and your mini airbrushed onto the rocker cover?! (ie you driving the mini or you posing by the mini) that would look cool!

i know you said you want one just for show but im sure if such a thing was made they would get too hot and melt if someone drove with it on, they couldn't be made out fof metal so would have to be a clear plastic so wouldn't be heat resistant enough

That is a good point to make, Maybe some sort of reinforced plastic ?

Glass.

Tempered/Heat resistant. Be a pain to make but would do the job and look great as long as you changed the oil every month!
