At least I think that's what the Belgian guy in the ads on telly says!!!

So.... for any of you who hasn't yet tried Stella Artois "CIDRE" yet, you have to get yourself some as I reckon that its absolutely fantastic stuff!! Trust me that if you do, your taste buds will love you forever!!..... That is unless you don't actually like Cider and in which case that's probably only because it reminds you of being fourteen, drinking too much of it and then throwing up copiously over yourself and your mates in your local park! ;D

I reckon it's like fizzy alcoholic apple juice and makes all the other ciders taste like watery alcoholic apple squash by comparison, even all those trendy Cidres like "Magners" that people insist on putting ice in... which is just plain wrong in my opinion!

By the way this isn't actually spam (so please don't delete it mods) it's just that I have just discovered this stuff myself and I think its pretty ace and so want to share the joy!!... besides "Spam" is a completely different product, it's pink, it's not alcoholic and I've never seen anyone try and pour it over ice into a glass!!...

Posted Image Posted ImagePosted Image

....There's even a product recall out on some of the 568ml bottles of it at the moment, (apparently due to the risk of some of them unexpectedly bursting!)... How about that!!.... you even get the added excitement of bringing a volatile unexploded glass bomb into your home included in the price!!

.... and yes I have been drinking before writing this (quite a lot actually)!!

its nice i got some from asda when it first came out for a pound a bottle (the big ones).

i love cider and the more different the better, like AVV IT said, magners with this add ice *******, i hate that, and strongbow needs banning.

get yourself to Nandos and try the south african Savannah cider.

Am I allowed to presume that your name, 'maggies minder', has some sort of relevance to Margaret Thatcher? Or is that just prejudice? :P

Eurgghh! Can't stand cider, and it's not even because of my previous teenage years, can't stand the taste of the stuff! Can't beat a nice cool pint of larger though. :D
