Got my ticket today! Woop Woop!

I sent my application form off about two weeks or so ago!

tickets came today

i remember people adding their ticket numbers last year so mine is 1050

They're only up to no. 1115!! .... Blimey that means that they've probably got about another thousand or so of them still left to sell!!.... I suppose that there's a few months left yet, but then when you consider the inevitable big surge of ticket sales that they get right at the beginning, then it doesn't make a complete sell out look very likely again this year....


.... anybody got a higher ticket number than 1115 yet?

With the lower car park closed and its access road blocked off, the local side roads will be even chocker than usual for parking so sadly it seems like it will be straight down to Brighton and pick up the run pack that end this year. After many previous years there is no way am I ever entering into the official Crystal Palace Park queues again! (although it certainly looked better last year).

Also I'm not leaving my classic Mini out of sight 'unattended' on a back street in Crystal Palace!

Ah well that's a hundred or so more that they've already sold then....Maybe there's still hope yet!!


Out of curiosity, if you pick your run pack up at the Brighton end, are you allowed to park on Madeira Drive before collecting it??... Or do you have to park somewhere else, then walk to the LSMOC stand and get your run pack before then being allowed to park on Madeira Drive?.... If you see what I mean??

It keeps saying it's going to be bigger than ever this year etc, but surely they should have sold a fair bit more in the 'rush'?

As long as you still have the Brighton half of your ticket as sent to you then I believe you can access Madeira Drive, some run plaques drop of on the journey down anyway so don't think you need the run plaque, as said you can pick that up from the Brighton LSMOC stand with your unused CP half of your ticket.

It can never get bigger than 2100 Mini's max as that is all the available spaces on Madeira Drive in Brighton.

Don't worry they send them out in batches...........it is very labour intensive work stuffing the envelopes!
