is there a specific sort of revcounter that i should need?
i use the standard 3 clock rev counter and its spot on. The MJ unit should power any aftermarket rev counter. But i cannot guarantee it.

i'd be interested in one of these, would you need the edis plug etc to make the loom?
yes we would need the edis / coil pack & crank sensor plugs back, as you purchased one of our kits i believe?

I'm interested, how do these work with the wiring loom? As we run our car on 3 wires!! What's the advantages of running this system?
And engine mods needed to fit
Not sure what your question is exactly, as to run MJ on a mini there are VR sensor ins and outs of EDIS, lives, earths etc which is a minimum of 7 wires from experience?
Or are you comparing it to a dizzy setup? In which case the advantage is infinite mappable ignition with no engine modifications required. It is a modern day ignition system that bolts on.
