David, I've moved this into the trader's section, hope that's OK with you. You're registered as a trader and it should stay active in here.

Hi mate, I'm looking at your kit, and being completely illiterate with electrics, what else do I need to fit it? Cheers, Spud

Depends what you want. David can supply everything you require if you so desire. It rids you of both the dizzy and coil yeah. Difference depends on what you want out of it but it rids you of your dizzy getting drowned and gives you a modern reliable system instead.

Appreciate mike showing people what is required in a traders for sale thread - nice one!!
But yes you can buy what you need from there BUT, I supply the looms to specific requirements, continuing the Ford colour scheme - thus making future fault finding simple as the colours don't change.
I also test each and every component on my very own mini - to prove they work and show confidence in the product - i wouldn't risk £3k of engine otherwise.
As Tom said, I can supply juts the loom for you to fit plugs, or fit the plugs, EDIS units, EDIS plugs, Coil Packs Crank sensors and mounting brackets. And if you ask really nicely i can get my hands on HT leads cheap and pulleys with ring gears fitted (on an exchange basis).
So for all your mini wiring needs - email us at wiredbywilson at aol.co.uk
