You are totally right, It's not possible to get a classic to kiss the ground cause the car is not fit for it (due to arches and low engine) but it is possible to get a perfectly balanced car, again this is different for everyone. This is just my opinion, we're just trying to make the best of it.

This could be informative too, everyone has another point of view but this has already been discussed on TMF : http://www.stancewor...read.php?t=3259

For me personally this MPI has (almost) everything I look for. It just sits right and has a perfect wheel fitment.

Here you can see the tight fitment of the 10x7 golf cart wheels with 4 pot brakes. These pictures are several years old, the owner took 2 passengers in the back most of the time so it's not low in the back but you get the idea I think.

I was looking into the golf cart wheels driezzie but everyone kept telling they weren't safe for driving on the road and all the research seemed mainly negative regarding using them(sorry fir the little rant)
But dies this mean it is possible???!!
If it is I'm ordering them....
Cheers

Those on the pictures were sold as Gianni Potenza back in the days. After some internet diggin it appeared the same model is made in Asia and widely sold as a golf cart wheel in the USA. Some guys on the 16v mini forum bought them already (sold as ITP, Viking, Interceptor etc) and tested them on the track and on the roads (potholes etc) , they seem to keep up. They are also rated 500 lbs and the spokes at the back are thicker than a minilite, I will post pictures tomorrow cause I'm on my phone now. But be careful they are 10x7 and have a huge offset so won't fit on all minis without body modification. They also seem to be used in German classic races. It is most likely they are just the same as Potenzas.
